Guide and assistance-trained dogs are permitted.
The traveler must pay for his pet the amount of a full fare, regardless of the price paid by himself for his trip. Only animals meeting the following conditions are admitted free of charge:
- Small pets, provided they are transported in baskets or bags or in properly closed cages, with a maximum dimension of not more than 0,45m
- Guide dogs held by a special harness accompanying either visually impaired persons holding a disability card marked "blindness" and a green star, or instructors holding the dog guide identity card
Other dogs must be kept on a lead or transported in a basket. Class 1 and 2 dangerous dogs are forbidden on trams, buses and river shuttles.
