Tips for traveling onboard |
Because Le Bato is a river transport mode, it has some specific features:
Crew
There is always a captain and a sailor onboard. The sailor, like a bus driver, can sell tickets and is responsible for mooring the boat at the dock and managing passenger embarkation and disembarkation. The captain navigates between docks, ensures passenger safety, and has full authority onboard.
Passengers
The boat can accommodate 65 passengers, including 2 wheelchair users (UFR), with no age restriction. Two places are reserved at the front for UFR.
Boarding and disembarking
Both are under the authority of the crew; disembarkation at each terminus is mandatory.
Your bicycle
Bicycles are allowed onboard, up to a limit of 10 per crossing. This number may be reduced during busy times.
