CMU Recipients
If you are a recipient of Couverture de Maladie Universelle (Universal Health Insurance), you are entitled to reduced TBM fares.
Please make sure you carry your CMU certificate when you travel: you may need to show it to ticket inspectors.
Students and school pupils
You are entitled to a discount on tram, bus and Bat3 fares!
- If you are under the age of 28 and are a student at an institute of higher education in Greater Bordeaux,
- Or you are at school (up to and including Terminale) and you live in Gironde and attend a school in Greater Bordeaux),
- Or you attend a school (up to and including Terminale) in Gironde and live in Greater Bordeaux.
For unlimited travel all year, think of our subscriptions: Pass Pitchoun (6-10years) or Pass Jeune (11-27years) !
The elderly and individuals with disabilities
If you are over the age of 60 or have a disability card, you may be entitled to means-tested free or discounted travel by tram, bus and Bat3.

Civic Service
During your Civic Service period, you are entitled to free and unlimited travel on TBM tram, bus and Bat3 services.

Asking for asylum
If you are an asylum seeker, you can benefit to free travel on TBM tram, bus and Bat3 services plus free use of park-and-rides. Eligibility is determined by a means test.
