TBM has 175 docking stations and over 1,800 self-service bicycles. We have different docking stations for V3 and V3+, which offers a longer period of free use.
V³ (pronounced VayCoob) docking stations are all next to bus and tram stops or train stations. They help you integrate cycling into your travel plans and get you right where you want to be: V³s mean speedier travel in the mornings, and they’re available at night when there are no trams or buses around. You can also use them to travel somewhere that isn’t served by public transport, or you can just borrow them for fun!
Becoming a member
24 hours and 7 days
When you purchase membership, you’ll receive a 6-digit access code, valid for 24 hours or 7 days. This access code, along with a 4-digit PIN, will give you unlimited cycle hire for 24 hours or 7 days.
1 month and 1 year
When you top up your TBM or Modalis card with a monthly or annual membership, you’ll get unlimited V3 use for a month or year.
When you join, you’ll need to pay a deposit of €200. This security deposit is only used if you’re in negative time credit or if the bike is seriously damaged or not returned. Depending on your bank, this sum may be debited from your account for a short period of time. For further information, click here.
Once you’ve become a member for the period of your choice, you can go to any V3 docking station to use a self-service cycle.
If you have a 24 hour or 7 day membership and want to unlock a bike, just enter your access code and 4-digit PIN into the machine.
If you have a monthly or annual membership, place your TBM card on the reader and then enter your 4-digit PIN to unlock a bike.
Try it out!
- If you download the V3 Facile mobile app, you can unlock a bike by using NFC on your smartphone! Click here for further information..
The first 30 minutes is free when you use a bike. All subsequent hours (or part hours) will be charged at €1 (if you have a monthly or annual membership) or €2 (if you have a 24 hour or 7 day membership). Discover our V³+ docking stations for up to 20 hours’ free cycling!
Returning a bike
When you’ve finished with a bike, return it to one of our many V3 docking stations. A light will flash and a beep will sound to let you know the bike has been locked up properly.
You can return a V3 to any docking station as long as your membership, of whatever length, hasn’t expired.
