The public transport network
The TBM public transport network serves all 28 municipalities in the Bordeaux Urban Community.
It provides 3 tram lines, 80 bus lines, 174 VCub self-service bicycle stations, 2 Bat³ bus-boats , 23 Park & Rides, 10 passenger interchanges, a bicycle parking lot, and a transport service for reduced mobility passengers.
These transport modes can be mixed and matched to always provide you with a transport solution that’s right for your commuting requirements
A network interconnected with train and coach services
The TBM network provides all the interconnections you need to the main railway stations in greater Bordeaux and Trans'Gironde coach lines. These connections make life easier for city dwellers and people commuting to work in the urban community, and for urban dwellers who work in the outskirts.
Everything you need to know:
- TBM route planner including Ter regional train links.
- Trans'Gironde coach timetables at bus stops and bus shelters on the Tbc network or at www.transgironde.fr
The Modalis combined travel pass includes:
- 1 unlimited travel pass for use on the TBM network
- 1 pass on a Ter regional train line or a Trans'Gironde coach line
A network made for Park & Ride
Located strategically near tram terminuses and major passenger interchange hubs, 23 Park & Rides allow car users to continue their journeys in safe, relaxed comfort on the TBM network. Just park your car and hop on a tram or bus: no more traffic jams or parking problems in the city centre!
Park & Ride access is free of charge for pass holders, and if you have a 1-day or 7-day Tickarte or a evening pass.
Occasional users can buy a Tickarte Park & Ride on arrival for a single fee of €4.50, which includes unlimited daytime parking and a Tickarte for each passenger in the car.
Need a car?
A self-service car hire for the trips you can’t do with TBM ? Everything’s possible with Citiz.
Citiz is a short-period car hire service (1 hour, an evening out, a weekend, etc...) that lets its members use a car when they need it. Just book a car by phone or online (1 month to 5 min beforehand) and pick it up from one of the 20 Autocool station in the urban community.
You return the car to the station when you don’t need it any more, and you pay a monthly fee based on usage.
